Relevant financial reporting & reasonable 3rd party reports/reviews. Due diligence is driven by mitigating identified risks to SBCFund investors vs. banking regulations.
Decision-making and timeliness. Ability to close in 3-5 business days.
Flexible loan structuring to suit capital/cash flow needs. Typically interest only repayment terms with principal balloon payments. Ability to tailor loan repayment structure to repayment sources.
“Cash Out” re-financings. This is typically an area Bank’s are hesitant to meet borrower’s needs. SBCFund can provide a bridge with “Cash out” financing which the borrower can refinance into permanent financing upon stabilization, etc. Willing to continue with subordinate 2nd Trust Deeds to approved senior bank financing.
Consistent lending in up & down markets. Underwriting to cash flow & collateral which is different than just collateral based lenders a similar lending concept to community bankers'.
